PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Some of the coldest afternoon highs Portland has felt since the springtime are expected with this weekend's rain.

Fall conditions ramp up as cooler and rainy weather returns to the Pacific Northwest this weekend. Friday's highs will also remain below the average of 67 degrees, with temps in the low 60s expected under overcast skies.

A few morning rain showers will fade to a few dry moments on Friday across the Portland-Vancouver area. This latest fall storm will leave behind almost an inch to an inch and a half of rain with dry skies on Tuesday. This wet weather trend and cooling temperature trend will help drop snow levels to nearly 4,500' by this weekend.
