Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has approved the draft plan of Town Planning (TP) Scheme-8, marking a significant milestone in Bhubaneswar’s structured and sustainable urban development. An official notification confirming the approval has been published in the Odisha Gazette.

The scheme, covering 560.86 acres across Andharua and Daspur mouzas, will be executed by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). Under the model, landowners will contribute 40% of their land toward developing public infrastructure, while retaining 60% as developed TP area.
