The Odisha Government has taken a significant step toward the State Capital’s structured urban development by approving the draft plan of Town Planning (TP) Scheme-8. The official notification detailing this approval has been published in the Odisha Gazette.

The scheme is set to be implemented over a substantial area of 560.86 acres, encompassing the Andharua and Daspur mouzas. The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has been designated as the executing agency responsible for the project.
