White Sulphur Springs Man Arrested for Hitting Mother During Argument

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Greenbrier County man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly striking his mother during a domestic dispute, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies A.B. Davis and C. Van Dyke responded to a 911 open-line call around October 8, 2025, at a home on Fifth Street in White Sulphur Springs.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Hayden Workman, who told deputies he had been arguing with his mother, but claimed nothing physical had occurred. Deputies noted that Hayden smelled strongly of alcohol, and he admitted to drinking ten cans of beer.

Moments later, another man arrived and confirmed that an argument had taken place between Hayden and his mother. When deputies spoke with the mother, she reported that her son had struc
