The brother of a man believed to have shot two Miami police officers on Thursday, prompting a massive law enforcement response, standoff and shootout, has been arrested, according to jail records.
Alan Henry Triana has been charged with attempted tampering with physical evidence, possession of armor piercing ammunition, improper exhibition of a firearm or weapon, and felony harassment of a witness, victim or informant.
He is the brother of the suspected deceased gunman Mason Triana , who allegedly opened fire on officers on Thursday morning before barricading himself inside a nearby home on Southwest 26th Street. He then came out and exchanged gunfire with officers, and after an hours-long standoff, was found dead inside the home.
It's unknown if Mason Triana was killed in the shoot
