NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man is facing charges following an argument with neighbors at a North Charleston apartment complex on Thursday night.

Andrew Winters, 51, is charged with pointing and presenting a firearm, according to jail records. A judge set bond at $20,000 on the charge, jail records state.

When police investigated a reported disturbance that involved a firearm at a Plantation Road apartment complex shortly after 6:30 p.m., witnesses told them a man who had been arguing with neighbors brandished a pink handgun.

The witnesses told police the man, identified as Winters, leaned over a fence separating the porches and began yelling while waving the gun “in a threatening manner.”

Police say they found the gun on Winters’ porch near a chair.
