DAVIS, W.Va. (WBOY) - Canaan Valley Resort is improving its skiing experience with a $6 million investment from the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.

The state park resort announced Thursday that it has completed a new snowmaking pump house that will make snow production more efficient and help the resort open and maintain more ski trails for the 2025-2026 season. The resort has also added a new snow groomer to better maintain the slopes. The upgrades will guarantee better skiing and snowboarding conditions throughout the season, Canaan Valley Resort said in a press release.
