LEBANON, Ohio (WXIX) - A Mason mom was convicted Thursday of stealing more than $6,000 from Mason Football Boosters
Laquita Miller, 44, will be sentenced at a later date on felony charges of theft and telecommunications fraud.
She faces a possible sentence of 6 to 12 months in prison, a fine of up to $2,500 and up to five years of probation on the theft charge.
On the telecommunications fraud charge, Miller could be sentenced to 6 to 18 months in prison and pay significant fines as well as full restitution to the victims, with interest.
Warren County prosecutors say she organized a one-time fundraiser in 2021 for the Mason Football Boosters and acquired the organization’s banking information to deposit money raised.
However, in June 2024, Miller used the banking information to make ni
