A 37-year-old Rockwood man is facing a dangerous driving charge after crashing into a Guelph business in what police are calling a road rage incident.
Guelph police said on Sept. 11, just after 9:30 a.m., a Guelph woman reported another driver became irate and began making rude gestures at her because she did not make a left turn at an intersection when the light turned amber.
When the advanced left-turn signal again turned to green, the other driver aggressively sped around her during the turn, police said, before losing control, mounting the curb and uprooting several metal posts before striking a Guelph business.
The man was taken to hospital but left before officers arrived to speak to him.
