ST. LOUIS - A teenager faces felony charges after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint outside of The Muny last year.

On Thursday, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged Maurice R. Tillman, 17, with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action in connection with the incident.

Tillman and two other suspects are accused of carrying out an armed robbery on Aug. 25, 2024, outside of The Muny at Forest Park.

Investigators say a man was sitting on a bench when he was approached by three suspects, including one who pressed a gun to his back and demanded his belongings. The other two suspects reportedly took his wallet, keys and cell phone from his pocket before running away from the scene.
