Mark Ringel was born and raised in West Lafayette, Ind., and moved to Cleveland in 1994. But, being a newcomer did not deter him from getting involved in the Jewish community.
Having spent nearly 40 years at “a very large company,” Ringel had the opportunity to impact people’s lives in many different ways. He knew in his retirement, he wanted to continue helping people locally and in tangible ways.
Ringel, a Pepper Pike resident, also had the chance to watch his wife, Susan Ringel, from the sidelines as she worked with National Council of Jewish Women/Cleveland, partially influencing him to get into volunteerism.
