TREMONT, Maine (WABI) - Two Hancock County men are facing charges in connection with overdoses that left one person dead.

David Baker, 60, of Franklin, and Nicholas Parlatore, 55, of Tremont, are both facing charges of aggravated trafficking of drugs resulting in death and serious bodily injury.

The charges stem from an incident in January 2024, when two men were found unresponsive inside a Tremont residence, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say one of the victims died as a result.

Authorities add after a year and a half investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Baker and Parlatore.

Both men appeared in court Wednesday where bail was set at 15,000 each.
