BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Before the weather really cools down, what better way to celebrate spooky season than getting your steps in?
This October, join the Bangor Historical Society (BHS) as they retrace the spirits, mysteries, and more ghosts of Bangor’s past.
Hosted every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7 p.m. this month, the historical society’s walking ghost tours guide groups as they walk about a mile through downtown Bangor.
“Really exploring the history of the region in a different way,” describes Matt Bishop, BHS’ curator and operations manager, of the ghost tours. “Nothing scarier than what you’re going to see on TV, but really looking at the grain of truths behind so many of these haunting stories.”
