LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Academic Planning Committee has been holding hearings since the start of October on the proposed 27.5 million dollars in budget cuts.

The proposed cuts including eliminating six different departments, putting some faculty members’ jobs on the line, including Sarah Zuckerman.

Zuckerman is an associate professor in UNL’s educational administration department and president of American Association of University Professors (AAPU). Since the proposal, the budget cuts have added significantly to her workload.
