Pedestrian dies after being hit by Transit van in Bristol View Image

A man in his 80s has died following a crash involving a van and a pedestrian, police have confirmed.

The collision was reported at around 8.20am on Thursday, October 9, in Warmley, outside a convenience store at the junction of Victoria Road and Poplar Road.

A police cordon was put in place at the scene , and the elderly pedestrian was taken to Southmead Hospital in a life-threatening condition. Police have now confirmed he passed away in hospital later that day.
