BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a crash where a driver was pinned in a vehicle Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported in the 900 block of Espee Street around 4:42 p.m., according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police found two vehicles disabled in the roadway and one of the drivers was pinned inside the vehicle.
Firefighters with the Bakersfield Fire Department responded to the scene and extricated the pinned in driver. The driver then had a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital.
The other driver was not injured and cooperated with the investigation.
Drugs, alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in the crash, according to BPD.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to con
