Chinese stocks trading in the U.S. tumbled Friday after former President Donald Trump threatened to sharply raise tariffs on Chinese imports if he returns to office, warning that China has become "very hostile."
Alibaba and Baidu each slid about 8%, while JD.com and PDD Holdings fell 6.6% and 5.2%, respectively. The iShares MSCI China ETF (MCHI), which tracks major Chinese companies listed in the U.S., dropped 5.2%. Stock Chart Icon Stock chart icon
