Marshalls, the "off-price" department store that reminds you of the good old days when malls were king, is about to celebrate the grand opening of a new location in Roseville.

The nearly 25,000-square-foot store at the Rosedale Marketplace (2439 Fairview Ave. N) will open on Oct. 23. It's a relocation of the Marshalls that was formerly in the Har Mar Mall.

The department store has taken up residence in the former home of Hobby Lobby in the Roseville strip mall. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Golf Galaxy will also move into the Rosedale Marketplace.

As part of the opening, the company, headquartered in Framingham, Mass., will donate $10,000 to the Domestic Abuse Project, a Minneapolis organization that provides domestic abuse therapy to families that experience violence.
