DELTA, Colo. (KREX) - A two-vehicle crash that included a semi closed U.S. Highway 50 north of Delta late Thursday night before reopening just before midnight.

The driver of the Hyundai sedan was transported to the hospital with complaints of injury, according to Colorado State Patrol. The semi driver was also sent to the hospital but to be treated for minor injuries.

The Hyundai driver, 33-year-old Juan Due Teofilo from Mexico, was cited for operating a vehicle without a safety belt fastened, failure to present immediate evidence of insurance upon request, driving a car without a valid driver's license (resident for more than 30 days) and careless driving that caused bodily injury.
