Town of Lexington issues boil water advisory for water main break

LEXINGTON, S.C.(WOLO)– The Town of Lexington has issued a boil water advisory for a water main break on Old Chapin Road, say officials.

The water advisory was issued for portions of Old Chapin Road, West Main Street, Columbia Avenue and Belfry Drive.

Town officials say, crews are working on isolating the impacted area and are making repairs.

A boil water advisory means you should boil any water you plan to use for drinking or cooking for at least one minute.
