EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police say they arrested a driver for drug dealing after pulling him over and catching him with fentanyl pills.

Officers say it happened as they were patrolling on North Green River Road on Thursday afternoon.

During a traffic stop with 27-year-old Edgar Garcia-Estrada, police say they discovered he never obtained a driver's license in the United States.

While conducting an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed, officers said they found several blue fentanyl pills and around $2,000 in cash.

Garcia-Estrada was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on charges of drug dealing and driving without a license.
