Luck is in air in Kingston as two additional residents have taken home wins with two different lotteries following the $75 million jackpot win by David Hatt.

James Kane of Kingston won the Lightning Lotto jackpot on Sept. 3, worth $1,288,729.80, according to Ontario Lottery and Gaming.

James, a father of two, said he noticed the Lightning Lotto jackpot had climbed over $1 million and decided to pick up a ticket, a news release from OLG said.

When he checked his ticket at the store, he thought something was wrong.

“I realized I won big and was in disbelief,” James said in the release. “I spent the rest of the day walking around thinking it was a dream and wondering when I’d wake up!”

James, a city worker, shared the news with his family who were shocked by the news.
