WOODRUFF, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Education Lottery said an Upstate player is now a millionaire.
A Magnificent Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket worth $2.5 million was sold at Nick’s Mart on North Main Street in Woodruff.
Lottery officials said the winner is staying anonymous but beat the 1 in 1.72 million odds to win the prize on a $20 ticket.
Nick’s Mart received a $25,000 commission for selling the claimed ticket.
