WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) -- South Carolina’s newest lottery millionaire is keeping it a secret.
An Upstate resident has won $2.5 million from the Magnificent Jumbo Bucks scratch-off lottery ticket, purchased at Nick's Mart on North Main St. in Woodruff.
The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, beat the odds of 1 in 1.72 million to claim the prize from a $20 ticket.
Lottery officials confirmed that three more $2.5 million prizes remain in the Magnificent Jumbo Bucks game, offering further opportunities for players.
Nick's Mart, the location where the winning ticket was purchased, received a $25,000 commission for selling the ticket.
