Ogden police are searching for a 16-year-old who they have identified as a suspect in the shooting death of a Ben Lomond High School student. Charging documents indicate prosecutors believe the shooting was gang related.

Police on Friday issued a wanted flier for Isaias Emanuel Carranza, who has been charged by the Weber County Attorney’s Office with one count of aggravated murder and 28 other felony charges in the death Tuesday of Mason Caballero, 16.

Police warned the public not to approach Carranza if they see him or know where he is. Instead, officials ask the public to call 911 or the Weber County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 801-395-8221 immediately.
