LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel spoke out against National Guard deployments across the country.
On Monday, President Donald Trump ordered at least 300 members of the Illinois National Guard to Chicago for two months. The Administration said it was to protect federal workers, including ICE agents, and protect federal property in Chicago.

“That’s not helpful to the residents of the city of Chicago.”
A federal judge partially blocked the order Thursday.
