As the London Food Bank’s Thanksgiving collection drive heads into its final weekend, donations outweigh the 2024 campaign totals at the same point last year, officials say.
Co-executive director Jane Roy said donations to the 2025 Thanksgiving effort weighed in at a total of 75,076 pounds (34,121 kilograms) of food and cash equivalents as of Friday afternoon, over 2,000 pounds more than the 72,943 pounds (33,156 kilograms) collected at the same time last year.
“We had an amazing first weekend,” Roy said, adding donations had leveled off a bit during the week.
