The East Coweta Lady Indians continue to make history, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

On Wednesday night, the Lady Indians defeated the Carrollton Lady Trojans 2-0 to capture the Class 6A, Region 2 championship, their 16th consecutive region title and 20th overall in program history.

It was a true team effort from start to finish, anchored by senior pitcher Jada Savage, who turned in another dominant performance with seven strikeouts and a complete-game shutout.

Savage kept the Trojans off balance all night, mixing power and precision to secure the victory.

East Coweta wasted no time getting on the board, plating a run in the first inning and adding another insurance run later in the game.
