ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Four people, ages 73 to 90, were seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Waterloo on the evening of Sept. 19, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just before 7 p.m. to the intersection of State Route 96 and Brewer Road, where they found a pickup truck partially blocking the westbound lane and an SUV off the roadway in a ditch.
Investigators say the driver of the pickup, a 33-year-old man, failed to yield the right of way while entering Route 96 from Brewer Road, causing the SUV to strike the truck and veer off the road.
The SUV’s four occupants, women ages 73, 81, 82, and 90, all sustained serious injuries and were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Two were transported by ambulance, and two others
