EASTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A bear was spotted in the south end of Easton, and police are monitoring its activity, according to the police department.
The "gorgeous but massive" bear was spotted near Blanchard Road and Route 59. Police are warning residents to do the following to limit potential contact with bears: • Bring bird feeders and garbage cans inside • Clean grill after use • Do not leave food of any kind outside • Do not try to approach bear • Make noise and wave your arms to make your presence known, if necessary
