LONGVIEW, Texas — A New Orleans man was sentenced to 35 years after pleading guilty to murdering a Longview man in February 2020.

Aaron Williams, of New Orleans, pleaded guilty Friday in connection with the shooting death of 44-year-old Joseph Pierre Brice. He was then sentenced to 35 years in prison, according to Gregg County judicial records.

The shooting happened on Feb. 29, 2020.
