As a child, Larissa Scott would put together weird exhibits and charge her siblings to see them.

"I would collect weird looking insects and just all kinds of things and try to get my older sisters and brothers and their friends to come to my little freak museum," she said.

Scott, executive director of the Newnan-Coweta History Center, is continuing her oddball exhibit with "McRitchie's Stranger Things," a showcase on the quirkier side of Newnan and Coweta County's local history.

The exhibit will be on display for ticketholders of the museum's annual cemetery tour on Oct. 17 and 25. After the final cemetery tour, the exhibit will be taken down.

While looking through NCHC's collection, Scott said she found items that would never be exhibited under regular circumstances.
