I’ve officially reached the age where I had to buy my first pair of readers. I remember hearing someone refer to their glasses as “readers” and wondering where the term came from. They looked like glasses to me.
I went on Amazon and saw a four-pack of the lowest number for under 20 bucks, so I bought it. I figured that should last me for years. I’ve gone about five decades without needing any; four should last me forever.
