Oxford woman arrested on burglary charge after apartment disturbance

On Oct. 10, 2025, officers responded to an apartment complex on Private Road 3151 for a reported disturbance between two women. Investigators determined that 26-year-old Laniqua Williams, of Oxford, had caused property damage inside the victim’s apartment during the incident.

Williams was arrested on a charge of burglary. Williams was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing.

She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
