LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A quilter’s paradise is up and running in Shepherdsville as The Bluegrass One Stop Shop Hop opens for the weekend.

Jennifer Carter created the event ten years ago to provide quilters with a place to find fabrics, sewing machines and much more all under one roof.

She says that it brings in hundreds of quilting enthusiasts from all over the country.

“It is endless,” Carter explained. “There’s endless possibilities of all things quilting related, and the sky is the limit of what you can do with fabric and thread.”

Carter also emphasized that the hobby is for all ages.

“We have quilters that start out at like six, seven, eight years old,” Carter said. “They learn how to quilt from their family members and all the way up until, you know, of course, senior citizens
