KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A former schoolteacher in the Leavenworth School District was sentenced on Friday to more than 10 years in the Kansas Department of Corrections for child sex crimes.
According to Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson, 55-year-old Jerome Riscovallez was found guilty on two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child back in September. Six victims were involved in the two charges.
Now, Riscovallez will serve two consecutive 61-month sentences for a total of 122 months in prison, which is 10 years and two months.
