LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival is coming to a close this weekend after multiple community events.
Seniors in the Logan County area came out to enjoy a leisurely one-mile stroll on Friday morning around downtown and connected with members of their community. Once the walk concluded, there were door prizes handed out, and tobacco was on display.
The senior stroll has been a part of tobacco fest for decades now and is one of the last events before the big parade, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11.
All of the events during the festival are big for the community as they bring everyone together from all walks of life and invite former residents to come back from years past.
“There’s so many events for so many different sectors of the population,”
