BUFFALO, N.Y. — A blank white canvas at Stitch Buffalo on Plymouth Avenue will soon be bursting with color.

“Tomorrow is International Day of the Girl, and we're proud to be able to celebrate with Girl Scouts of Western New York girls across our community and Stitch Buffalo, to do a beautiful collaborative art project, that eventually the girls will take home and have a piece of that they'll be able to save and cherish,” Cara Biddlecom, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Western New York, told 2 On Your Side .

During the Stitch Buffalo open house on Saturday, any girl is welcome to stop by and help decorate the long white piece of fabric that will later be transformed into personal keepsakes.
