On Friday at 2:09 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday 8 p.m. until Monday 8 p.m. for Barnstable County.
The weather service states, “East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph possible.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
