Law enforcement is currently investigating a two-vehicle crash in southwest Roswell that resulted in the death of a local teenager Thursday night. The crash occurred at around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of West McGaffey Street and South Union Avenue. The vehicles involved were a Ford Escape and a Honda all-terrain vehicle.

One of the two occupants of the ATV, Anthony Palacios, 17, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after. The other occupant of the ATV, a 20-year-old Roswell man, was transported to a hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Escape, a 42-year-old Roswell woman, was not injured.
