The manager of a trailer park on Wilson Street in Mission was allegedly bear-sprayed early last Wednesday (Oct. 1).

Mission RCMP say the manager was conducting nightly rounds of the park at 1 a.m. when he noticed a red van parked outside a residence in the park.

“Without warning, the driver of the van drove up to the manager and bear-sprayed him through an open window, then fled the area,” RCMP said.

Police say what led to the altercation is unknown. The manager suffered irritation from the bear spray.

Those with information are urged to call Mission RCMP, referencing file 25-12474.
