TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WHNT) — It's now been two days since the Madison County District Attorney's Office unveiled its findings on the investigation into the incident that led to August Borden's injuries.

Lesley Scott is a Shoals local who has been standing with Borden and his family since the beginning.

“Anytime there is an instance of injustice, especially regarding minor children, I'm all for finding out the truth and advocating for people who might can’t advocate for themselves,” Scott said.

Scott told News 19 after the Madison County DA's Office held a news conference, talking about their findings, Scott could not bring herself to believe it.
