MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG)—Flavor, tradition, and love are all ingredients for a successful restaurant, and the Continental Commissary Kitchen in Mobile is giving businesses the space to work their magic.

The Continental Commissary Kitchen is a nonprofit that began when owner Leida Javier noticed there weren't enough Latin restaurants along the Gulf Coast with the resources needed to run a business.

"We went around and did some research," Director of Operations, Continental Commissary Kitchen Nailim Sanchez said. "At the moment, there was only two commissary kitchens all around the area of Mobile, and they were both full. After that, one of them closed. AKA, there was only one commissary kitchen with a wait list. So we saw the huge need."
