A 58-year-old man has been arrested as a result of an investigation into historical allegations of sexual assault, the New Westminster Police Department says.
Surrey resident Ronald Veit is facing multiple charges relating to offences that allegedly took place between 2008 and 2012 in several municipalities across the Lower Mainland.
His charges include sexual interference, sexual exploitation, and sexual assault.
“While charges have been laid, the allegations have not been proven, and the matter is currently before the courts,” New West PD said.
Police say they are working with the Victim Assistance Unit.
