WORCESTER, Mass. —
The Worcester County District Attorney's office announced Friday they've indicted a Mississippi man connected to the 2009 disappearance of Patricia Santos.
Albert Carabba, 64, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, was indicted on one count of murder.
Santos was Carabba's ex-girlfriend, according to investigators.
On May 20, 2009, Santos was reported missing from 45 Fruit Street in Worcester. She was never seen or heard from again.
Carabba was taken into custody without incident by detectives from the Ocean Springs Police Department with the help of Worcester police detectives.
He will be extradited to Massachusetts and arraigned in Worcester Superior Court at a later date.
