Hallmark actress Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe just revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

The 44-year-old star has starred in many projects over the years, including Final Destination 3 , The L Word , and more. More recently, she has become a regular on the Hallmark channel, both as an actor and a director.

She shared a touching personal essay with People about her recent diagnosis and how it has affected her and her family, which includes her husband, Miko Tomasevich , and their two children.
