CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Teddy Holewager is what you'd call a hardcore football fan.

"I spend my whole day on Sunday just watching football," she admits. "I got the RedZone!"

That being said, you imagine the joy she felt when the guys she watches on TV, suddenly showed up to her doctor’s office.

"They are as big as I thought there were," she smiles.

And much to her delight, they've also got big hearts too. Guys like Bryce Young and Thomas Incoom could have been anywhere that Tuesday morning. Instead, they and a few of their teammates chose to spend it with cancer patients at Atrium Health.
