Coming into his rookie year, Bronny James had an unprecedented focus on him. Pundits obsessed over his every move and put a light on him that no other No. 55 pick has ever seen.

Despite the media frenzy surrounding the Laker, Bronny James had a productive year. He embraced being a defensive guard and delivered a standout performance against the Bucks late in the year, scoring 17 points on 7-10 shooting.

In Summer League as a player entering his second year, he needed to demonstrate he was beyond this level of competition and he did that. Bronny was a step quicker and stronger than his opponents, and he was the best player on the Lakers.
