PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Gunshots were reported near I.C. Norcom High School during their Friday night football game, a spokesperson with Portsmouth schools said.
The stadium was cleared, and there were no injuries reported, the spokesperson said, but principals of both I.C. Norcom and Churchland High Schools — who were playing each other at I.C. Norcom — released the following statement to families:

This evening, during the final seconds of the Churchland/I.C. Norcom High School football game, gunshots were fired in the streets near the I.C. Norcom campus.
