ABILENE, Kan. (KAKE) — The former director of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library says his resignation over a ceremonial sword requested by the Trump administration doesn’t add up — but he doesn’t blame the president.

Todd Arrington served as director for 13 months before stepping down. He says he had no political motivations and didn’t believe President Donald Trump was involved in the decision.
